President's Corner

Cenell is a Licensed Certified Athletic Trainer, a Health Professional, and Health Educator. Currently, she is Founder & President of C&C Wellness, Inc. and non-profit organization which promotes health and wellness by offering wellness programs in the community. In addition, she works in a clinical physical therapy private practice working as a Muscle Activation Specialist doing muscle work and providing therapeutic exercises. She enjoyed a twelve-year teaching career as an Assistant Professor in the fields of health, exercise science and athletic training in the Department of Human Performance and Sports Business at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio. She earned a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Akron and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Mount Union. Cenell completed doctoral coursework in both Exercise Science and Public Health and then decided to redirect her career and is now completing her Ph.D. in Health Sciences at Rocky Mountain University in Provo, UT.

Cenell is also the Founder and President of C&C Wellness, Inc., a non-profit organization which focuses on providing health and wellness resources to the community. Cenell co-produced Losing Baby Fat a wellness video for women (Copyright 2004) and co-hosted a local television show in Stark County Ohio titled Fit & Well. In addition to being featured in Pregnancy Magazine (2004), Cenell has also enjoyed being a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show (2007) and was inducted into the Stark County YWCA Women’s Hall of Fame for her commitment to community health and fitness promotion. Cenell counts it a blessing to be the wife of her loving husband Wayne Boch, mother of two teenage sons Daniel and Fendrich “Richy” Clark Jr; and stepmom to three charismatic adult children (Lindsey, William, and Samantha). Cenell is a native of Canton, Ohio and enjoyed participating in the 2005 Mrs. Ohio America Pageant in Columbus, Ohio and was awarded the title Mrs. Fitness Ohio America 2005. As a licensed certified athletic trainer, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor. She practices what she preaches and truly believes wellness involves the mind, body, and spirit.

Cenell has spoken at several seminars for individuals of all ages from young athletes (male and female athletes) to special populations (i.e. diabetics, those with heart disease, high blood pressure etc). Cenell brings over 20 years of professional, clinical, and teaching experience as a Licensed Certified Athletic Trainer and Health Professional to her audiences. Cenell has also taken her health and wellness promotion international by speaking and doing health and wellness research in Japan with young women in college.
